These icons are used throughout the design:
* Green circles represent the main character and family members.
* Green triangles represent the main character's closest companions.
* Yellow, amber, brown, jade, green, and teal colors represent the many facets of the main character's personality.
* Ocean blue color represents the main character's most memorable phase in life.
* Flowers represent life’s various activities.

Our journey of life begins on the left side panel, which represents the period that includes conception and the human’s entrance into the world.

Our journey flows gracefully onto the fireplace face, from the top left panel towards the lower right and then onto the hearth.

The circular designs on the middle of the hearth call to mind the unity of the family.

On the right side of the hearth, our main character relates to and connects with family and friends as they experience the unpredictable nature of life.

Finally the right side panel describes the golden age of life.

This phase represents the main character at the Golden Years.

Our main character contemplates life, particularly their connections with family, friends, and community.
