"Foot's Dream"

This piece will be in the eMotion Pictures: An Exhibition of Orthopaedics in Art show which will be on exhibit at Moscone Center in San Francisco from March 5th through March 8th, 2008; and at the Chicago Cultural Center from April 17 to July 20, 2008.

The inspiration for this piece grew out of the artist’s recurring dreams of the beach during the two months in which she recovered from surgery on both feet. She saw herself strolling along the beach, healed by the soothing, smooth, wet sand and clear, blue water.
