1. Table Base Options:
The mosaic base can be prepared in one of two ways:
Option 1: Prepare the base yourself
. Purchase a Wedi backer board
Note: Wedi boards are not sold individually. Amazon sells them in packs of 5 sheets, and Home Depot sells them by the pallet (50 sheets).
. Cut it to the exact shape and size of your table (include a hole if your table has an umbrella opening).
. Paint one side of the board black — this will be the back and provides weather protection.
. Securely screw the board onto your table.
Option 2: We build the base for you
. Bring your table to class on the first day.
. My husband can build and attach the base for you for an additional fee.
The completed base is fully suitable for outdoor mosaic tables and is designed to last permanently.
2. Table Requirements:
Participants must provide their own outdoor table:
. Material: aluminum or wrought iron
. Size: 20”–36” maximum
. Must have holes on the surface for screwing the base securely
